If you use one of the enlisted trading platforms, then you can import the data automatically. With automatic data import all Instruments and Transactions are created by default.
You can also enter the data manually. Here is an example. Let’s assume that you have done several transactions by EUR\USD and AAPL. Let’s enter this data into the software.
1. Adding Accounts
We need 2
trading accounts, because we trade through 2 brokers. We have a US dollar account
with A broker and a Euro account with B broker. Let’s create these accounts
in the software.
Open Trading account directory by selecting Menu -- > Directories --> Accounts.
Click the button and fill
in the form as follows:
Since you enter
the data manually, then Name field can be anything, and Number field could
remain empty. If you import the data from a trading platform, then these fields
should match the ones in the trading platform.
It is essential
to state the real currency of the account. This will affect the validity of
trading account should be added in the same way. Then the list of trading accounts
looks like this:
2. Adding the Instruments
Open Instruments directory by selecting Menu -- > Directories
instrument. Click the button and fill
in the form as follows:
Add the second instrument AAPL in the similar way
Once the second
instrument is added, the list of instruments will contain 2 entries:
3. Adding strategies
If you trade with
one strategy, then there is no need to use this Directory. If you use two and
more strategies, then we highly recommend to use this Directory to analyze each
strategy in details. Let’s add a couple of strategies.

4. Account balance entry
Open Journal of Documents by selecting Menu --> Documents --> Journal of documents

It is very important to set Date and time
appropriately. This can affect further calculations. Balance entry date should
be earlier than the date of the last transaction, that is the timeline of the
transactions should be ensured.
Deposit +/- document should be created every time you
top up your account or withdraw money from it. It can also be used to display different
payments, for example, fee to a broker for the trading platform.
To display withdrawal or any fee payment use – in "Amount (+\-)" field.

5. Adding trading Transactions
Let us enter the
first transaction in EUR\USD.

audio, and video files. We recommend to add .png images. They are small in size
and have good resolution. All attached files are stored in database file, it

6. Adding properties
of Transaction and Trades contain additional information to analyze and
examine you trade. Let us assume that you consider a area of the market in your
trade. You divide the areas into 3 categories: trend, flat, and indefinite.
Each category has its own rules of entry, exit, lot calculations, etc. It might
be of interest for you to know that you can get some income in one category,
but lose money in another one. Let’s see
