Importing data from the previous version of MaxProfit 4.2

The principle of operation is as follows: you need to export data to the specified folder from version 4.2, then import data from this folder into version 6.0

1. Export data

Select the ‘Use the standard program main menu’ option in the program settings



Next, in the main menu, select Databases - Export Database. Create a new folder anywhere on your hard drive and select it.



2. Data import

Go to the Trading Journal


Open Data import panel


In the ‘Data format’ field, select ‘МaxProfit 4.2’.

Specify the path to the data folder.



Click on ‘Start import’. Confirm that you agree that the current database will be completely cleared before importing.
