List of values

When is the best time to create "List of values" Tag?

For example. We would like to know what market areas are the most profitable under our strategy, and what ones are not. We create "Market area" Tag and add 3 values to it: Trend, Flat, and Indefinite.


Then we can select the Market area in the document Trade



Let’s select the appropriate area for all Trades. Then Trading Journal will look like this:


Let’s open Reports and select a new report type


Thus we could see that Trend and Flat areas are profitable while some other areas are not. It means that we should continue developing our strategy or at least avoid trading in these areas.

In Units field you can select one out of 4 values: Net Profit, Gross profit, Percent or Pips
